Who you can ask if you have other questions or problems
If your question does not fit one of the specific topics, you can contact SFMA in writing and provide enough detail for an initial assessment.
Written enquiries
Complex matters should be submitted in documented written form. A clear written submission helps SFMA understand the facts, the financial service provider involved, the product or transaction, and why the matter may be relevant under financial-market law.
What SFMA does with information
SFMA reviews tip-offs about possible irregularities. Where there is concrete evidence of a financial-market law violation, it can carry out further enquiries and impose measures on supervised institutions where necessary.
No case updates
Reports to SFMA do not make the reporting person a party to supervisory proceedings. SFMA is generally unable to disclose whether an investigation has been opened or what measures may have been taken.
